The world is a wonderful and amazing place
and what better way to see it than from the comfort of a large banana?

Steve and Spade Braithwaite, AKA: The Dirty Brothers are making a documentary film about building a huge banana car and then driving it from point A, around the world, and back to point A

Below are two of the possible routes the Banana Car could take.

Depart Pennsylvania USA.

New York to Southampton, Chunell to France, Italy, Austria.
Slovenia, Bosnia to Bulgaria or Hungary, Romania to Bulgaria, Turkey, Armenia, Azerbaijan.
Across the Caspian Sea to Turkmenistan. Uzbekistan and then either Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan or Tajikistan to the Chinese border and across China and back to the USA.

    We need:

  1. Wheels. So far we haven't had to scrounge too much stuff but we might have to swallow our pride and beg for wheels. Nice new shiny ones like these would look good under a large banana or maybe tough looking black ones such as these.
(If you know us you're probably thinking to yourselves right now, "Pride? What pride? When did they get pride?")

  2. Funding for our documentary team. Filmmakers Vince Clemente and Dan Billups have signed on to film the entire world trip. However, because we are funding the journey ourselves we don't have the dosh needed to fund the chase team. We are hoping to convince one of the major car companies to front us a vehicle for the chase car. If (and I realize this is a big "if") you have the means then perhaps YOU would like to supply our chase vehicle and be the driver.

  3. If you can help with any of these items please call Steve Braithwaite at (810) 444-2792
